About KPHA

KPHA was started in 1975 to operate a youth hockey program that would give any boy or girl from ages 4 to 17 years the opportunity to play hockey regardless of skill level.  To accomplish this goal, the association operates three leagues: the House A & B League and the Competition AA League known as Tier II.  KPHA utilizes both the Soldotna Sports Center and Kenai Multi-Purpose Facility rink for playing games, conducting practice sessions, as well as skill development sessions.

KPHA is affiliated with the United States of America Hockey Program (USA Hockey) and the Alaska State Hockey Association (ASHA).

KPHA MISSION STATEMENT

KPHA is a non-profit volunteer organization devoted to developing and promoting young hockey players in a safe and fun learning environment in which children of all ages can develop skill, character, confidence, and self-esteem in the sport of hockey.
